welcome to the last wedding of the reason’s first season. that has a nice little ring to it. :)

we’ve gotten to know brittney + anthony really well over the past few months since they booked with us. we shot their super cute engagement session, got to know brittney’s bridesmaids through another session, and kept up with them through facebook and email. so it was such a great wedding to end the season with.

they got married at the marietta country club on an absolutely beautiful day at the most perfect time of day. it couldn’t have been any better.

here’s a few details of brittney’s dress.

brittney is such a joy to be around, and her smile is so contagious!

the emotions were running high on their wedding day. this photo of grandma after she sees brittney in her dress is so precious.

during the reception the dj announced the next song was dedicated to chris + i. brittney (along with one of our other brides, scarlett) had found out the song that we had our first dance to at our wedding and played it for us. how crazy awesome is that? i almost cried.

the day, the people, the details… everything fit together perfectly. and the reception was definitely a party.

my favorite part: anthony brought some of his ridiculous (in a good way) dance moves to the floor. he surprised everyone by dancing to mc hammer (“can’t touch this”).

we had the pleasure to shoot tiffany + amar’s indian wedding a few months ago, as well as tiffany’s mehndi party. they were both so beautiful, so you can imagine how excited we were to shoot their wedding! we met tiffany at emily + adam’s wedding. she was the makeup artist. since then, she’s helped us out at several photo shoots. check out her work here at mirror mirror makeup! she’s awesome.

amar is equally as awesome. such a great, genuine guy. you can tell he loves tiffany so much.

the wedding was at four oaks manor. this place was so comfy, the perfect place for an intimate wedding. wait til you see more of the details. all of the photos you see on this post were shot on the property/backyard.

the guys definitely made us laugh. it’s so much fun when you have an awesome wedding party.

ceremony time!

tiffany + amar didn’t just say their vows at the ceremony, they each shared who was most special to them and how they met and got to know each other. it was really unique and intimate.

they also had a polaroid photobooth with fun props. they used the polaroids as a guestbook. the kids had lots of games and toys to play with.

it keeps getting better… they also had dance lessons for the guests! one of the bridesmaids taught everyone some dance moves. such an awesome idea!

you might remember brittney + anthony from the sno-cone-filled engagement shoot a while back.  brittney contacted us a few weeks ago and really wanted to do something special for her bridesmaids.  something other than a pair of earrings or a necklace to wear on the wedding day.  something they would really LOVE.  she came up with the best idea – why not have a small photo session with them and then make them each an album with the photos that they can always look back on?  we fell in love with the idea.

here’s what brittney had to say about her idea and what she plans on doing with the photos :

“i was trying to figure out something cool to do for my bridesmaids, not something that everyone else does i guess.  i just wanted something unique.  hannah (one of the bridesmaids) and i were talking and we came up with this!  i am making each girl a special little gift, it’s a suprise though!  i’ll show you when i am done!”

i’m not sure how we got so lucky, but brittney’s bridesmaids – all of them – are absolutely gorgeous and have the best personalities.  we’re so excited about the wedding day!

when brittney asked where we should take the photos, we asked her what her and the girls usually do together.  she told told us they love to go on picnics, so that’s exactly what we did.  they even brought a few props!  :)

next, we took each girl off to the side to take a few photos with brittney.  we got to find out how they met brittney and why they love her so much.  below, brittney describes each bridesmaid in 3 words :

next, the girls TRIED climbing a tree.  only 2 were successful.  hilarious, nonetheless!

after we had fun in piedmont park, we drove over to little 5 points.  the first stop was zesto for ice cream.

the girls changed into cute dresses and we walked the streets, eventually stopping in a thrift store.

one pizza topping for the rest of your life?

kristen : hmmm… tough one.  probably pepperonis.

we can’t tell you how much fun this was.  not only hanging out with them all day and laughing, but being able to meet them and know their personalities before the wedding day.  not only would this work for bridesmaids, but groomsmen, seniors, and siblings as well!
