we usually don’t start the blog post with a slideshow, but just watch and you’ll understand. this presentation is brought to you by kleenex.
heather really liked our work, so her mom – kelly – decided to hire us and surprise heather! from that point on we got to know heather through facebook and twitter – when we finally met her it was like we were old friends! don’t you love social networking?
we’re so blessed to have awesome grooms. so many times we hear how guys just hate having photos taken, but jeff is the perfect example of how to relax and make it fun. besides, he’s too in love with heather to notice us clicking away behind the camera. :)
heather + jeff tied the knot in the front yard at bullock springs manor in dallas, georgia. the rain came pouring down ten minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, and then blew over a few minutes later. heather never knew until she stepped outside and saw the wet ground. the staff at bullock springs wiped the seats down for the guests (in under 2 minutes!) and everything was perfect!

heather’s bridesmaids were ON it!

heather’s mom starts the lacing process!

jeff + his groomsmen

jeff plays baseball with some of these guys, so we figured they needed a “team” photo

strike a pose, there’s nothing to it!

time for the ceremony sans rain!

the kiss. they know how to do this very well.

they’re so happy to be mr. and mrs. knope!

the bridal party’s expressions are priceless. especially love the hand over the face, haha.

first dance hotness

i love when couples know how to make each other laugh.

jeff, if you are ever in the dog house… just get a t-shirt made of this photo and wear it. she could never stay mad at you.

father/daughter and mother/son dances

the best man’s speech was amazing and had everyone there laughing… hard. i wish we had recorded it so you could laugh as well.

this little guy was the ring bearer. he was all over the dance floor! everytime he saw us with our cameras he would walk right up and pose, or dance, and then immediately ask to see it. so cute!

heather told us jeff wasn’t much of a dancer, but he sure shook his groove thang on the floor!

when jeff saw heather was wearing a cubs garter (his favorite team), he was beyond thrilled! this took some serious love and dedication from heather because she’s a HUGE braves fanatic!

according to heather, her dad has an amazing collection of old cars… like this one they drove off in.

chris’s flash opened up a time portal. haha, just kidding.

heather + jeff : hope you two lovebirds are having fun on your cruise! we can’t wait to go catch a braves game together when you get back. :)
