howdy folks.
can you believe i’m blogging from the ocean? the ship is great, but the weather has been terrible. seriously, it hasn’t stopped raining since we got on the boat. so, i’m sad to say no cool outdoor sunrise/sunset shots.
yesterday we left cape canaveral at 4:30pm and headed out to the private island owned by royal caribbean. even though it was raining, i could barely feel the ship move. this morning is a different story. maybe it’s the 2 mimosas and bloody marys i had at BINGO this morning, but man… as i’m typing, my world is going up and down. don’t worry, i’m not going to hurl on my laptop. anyways, i’m having a great time but i’m missing my wife like crazy. the wedding party is super fun, and last night i got to split my time between the bachelorette and bachelor party, but then again, they kind of merged at the end of the night seeing that we were all on one ship. we finally got kicked out of the hot tub at 2am, and most of us went back to the dance club till 3:45am. okay, I’ll shut up. picture time!
This is the father of the bride, bob farley, and a few others in our party watching the ship leave port.

this is the bride and groom at the first dinner on the cruise. heck yeah, i ordered double meals!

so the best man, chris, loves sandwiches and on round two of the dinner, he ordered another steak and two pieces of bread. he made a sandwich out of steak, green beans and mashed potatoes.

chris sharing some of his wisdom.

ummm…. bachelorette party favors

the girls kidnapped heather, but then again they couldn’t go very far.

party girls and cameras, strike a pose.

guys getting ready for a little gambling and dancing.

is it okay to say that one person in the bridal party can count cards?

BLACK JACK

seriously, it was like a movie. they missed each other by like 10 seconds. one party in one elevator going down, and the other group going up. classic.

does this picture not say it all? for real… bachelorette party in the house.
the mother of the bride got a little funky on the dance floor last night.

well that’s it so far, and I’m not sure what kind of pictures I’ll get today. the weather was too bad for us to get on the private island, so we are going ahead and sailing to Nassau today. we are now going to go to the private island on thursday, so maybe I can convince the bride to put her dress back on then and get a little “day after” session on the beach. hopefully. the wedding is tomorrow so there will be plenty of stuff then, but today is kind of a low key, nothing much going on kind of day… scratch that, i just saw the sun for the first time in 2 days! woohoo!
this is chris from the high seas saying “i love you all!”
p.s. allie, i love you.
